Lambda Links Selected to Receive Funds
Through Industry’s ‘Make Golf Your Thing’ Grant Program

Washington, DC (June 3, 2024) – Lambda Links has been selected to receive funding through a dedicated grant program operated by the golf industry’s DEI campaign, Make Golf Your Thing. As one of 81 designated organizations across the U.S, Lambda Links was chosen for its efforts to increase golf participation among underrepresented populations of the sport.

Since 2008 Team DC has given 97 students more than $142,000 in direct financial support.
Team DC College Scholarships are given annually to openly LGBTQ student-athletes from high schools in the greater Washington, DC region.

YOUTH AWARENESS
The You Can Play Project works to ensure the safety and inclusion for all who participate in sports, including LGBTQ+ athletes, coaches and fans.
You Can Play seeks to challenge the culture of locker rooms and spectator areas by developing a culture of respect, in every player, coach and fan.
